Ask KJ

July 28, 2006

Kerry took time to answers some more fans questions today after walk through:

From Eric in Saskatoon, SK:

Who gave you the hardest sack you have ever recieved out of all the linebackers?

HELLO ERIC, THE HARDEST SACK I HAD WAS A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AGAINST THE B.C. LIONS BY #26 CARL KIDD.

KJ

From Brett Fisher in Lashburn, SK:

Hey Kerry, just wondering what u think of the atmosphere in Mosaic stadium on game day and how do you feel about the riders talent, team and Grey Cup chances??

ps. Welcome to Saskatchewan Kerry, one of the best quarterbacks I've ever seen, and finally one in Saskatchewan , Henry who?

THE ATMOSPHERE ON GAME DAY IS GREAT AT MOSAIC STADIUM. WE HAVE A LOT OF TALENT ON THE TEAM. I THINK WE CAN DO REAL WELL THIS YEAR, WE HAVE TO PLAY UP TO OUR POTENTIAL EVERY WEEK. IF WE DO THAT WE CAN HAVE A CHANCE AT THE GREY CUP. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT

KJ

From Josh in Ottawa, ON:

Hey Kerry, I met you at the Grey Cup fesivities here in Ottawa a few years back. I really enjoyed talking with you and wanted to just drop you a quick line to say thaks for all your hard work and dedication while playing with us the last few years. I understand that you now have new loyalties, but was wondering if you'd take the time to come visit a Renegade Nation tailgate one evening when you make it back to Ottawa to play against our new team.

IT WOULD BE AN HONOR TO COMEBACK AND VISIT THE GREAT FANS OF OTTAWA WHEN I COME BACK TO THE EAST COAST.

KJ

From Harrison McNichol in Regina:

Hi Kerry. It's great to see you in Green and White this year. I think you are doing a great job as our QB. My question is this: Are there any changes that need to be made in order to shake things up a bit and make the veterans play like they are capable of?

I DON'T THINK CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE, EVERYBODY JUST HAS TO PICK THEIR GAME UP AND DO THEIR JOB. IF WE DO THIS COLLECTIVELY WE WILL WIN FOOTBALL GAMES.

KJ

From Shane DeRouen in New Iberia , LA

Hi Kerry, Glad to see you are doing well up in Canada . Ran across your site and thought to drop you a line. By the way this is Shane DeRouen graduated and played football with you back in High School. Good luck

HEY WHATS UP, IT'S GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU. I HOPE EVERYTHING IS GOING WELL AT HOME. IT IS GOOD TO HAVE THAT HOMETOWN SUPPORT. THANKS AGAIN, GOD BLESS.

KJ

From Nick in Houston , TX

Kerry, I am a graduate of McNeese and an avid fan. I was wondering if in future years if there is any chance of you returning to McNeese as a coach.

NICK I AM NOT SURE WHAT MY FUTURE HOLDS AS FOR MY COACHING CAREER. I STILL LOVE PLAYING THE GAME RIGHT NOW. WHO KNOWS WHAT MAY HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE. GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!

KJ

PS Congratulations on your Hall of Fame selection.

THANKS

KJ

From Caleb in Saskatoon, SK:

Kerry, Love the website, man! Great work! My 2 questions to you: 1) When you were a Renegade and under centre, how did you deal with all the noise from the Taylor Field fans? Hard snap? Foot taps? Just wondering...

WE USED SIMPLE SNAP COUNTS AND FOOT TAPS.

2) Again, when you were on the opposition bench at TF, what was the funniest fan interaction moment; either you or a teammate had?

I DID NOT PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO THE FANS WHENEVER I PLAY ON THE ROAD.

KJ

From Jory in Regina, Sk:

Hi kerry, since in the CFL your known as the scrambling quarterback earlier on did you ever think of being a running back? I think you'd do pretty good because right now your beating Ricky Williams in rushing yards.

I WAS BORN TO BE A QB, SO I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT BEING A RUNNING BACK. IT IS A BLESSING TO BE ABLE TO THROW AND RUN AS A QB.
